The South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum is the official state museum whose mission is to inspire a passion for the diverse history, culture, and science of agriculture in South Dakota. The museum collection contains over 100,000 artifacts and archival material that document rural life of South Dakota. The museum store is located on the South Dakota State University campus in the historic Stock Judging Pavilion, 977 11 Street, Brookings, SD.
The museum offers a variety of programs including book signings, exhibit openings, and lecture series. Group tours are available - reservations are required. Special members events are scheduled throughout the year.
